Code of Conduct

For Facilitators

You Have the Right to:

-A professional fine arts model who shows up on time, is pleasant, engaged and creates interesting poses held steadily for agreed upon lengths of time

-A full refund plus your next booking free of charge in the event that your model does not show up or shows up over 20 minutes late.

You are Expected to:

-Be present at all times to monitor artist participants

-Treat the model with respect

-Provide clean & safe work conditions

-Provide padding & props

-Schedule 5 min breaks every 20 min

-End the session at agreed time

-Announce that photography is not permitted

-Request that cell phones be silenced 

-Provide a private un/dressing area

-Ensure privacy from public view and do not allow extraneous people into the modeling area

-Provide a fan & a heater

-Not touch the model without permission

-Greet the model upon arrival & discuss the class structure, timing

-Give flexibility in the event that the model is up to 20 minutes late.  Said model will be expected to make up the amount of minutes late by taking it from break time or making it up at the end. In the event that this occurs, please be sure to report this to AOM.  -Give seven day cancellation notice

-Let AOM know if a model is not conducting themselves in a professional manner

-Book model at least one week in advance

-Book model for a two hour minimum (photography one hour)

For Models

You Have the Right to:

-Work in clean & safe conditions

-Be treated respectfully

-Take 5 min breaks every 20 min

-End the session at agreed time

-Not allow photographs

-A private un/dressing area

-Privacy from public view

-A fan & a heater

-Decline permission to be touched

You are Expected to:

-Conduct self in a professional manner

-Give 24 hours cancellation notice

-Arrive early to be ready on time

-Respect the artists' privacy

-Bring robe & slippers and wear them during all breaks

-Not socialize with the artists

-Not make eye contact with artists during poses

-Remain for your entire session

-Be engaged & create interesting poses

-Hold poses for agreed upon lengths with minimal movement

-Bring your own surface covering

-Have internet access & a cell phone

-Let the instructor know if an artist is bothering you

-Let AOM know if a facilitator is not conducting themselves in a professional manner

For Artists

Studio/Classroom Etiquette:

-Silence your cell phone 

-Never photograph a model

-Do not continue chatting with other artists once break ends & pose commences

-If you arrive late or leave early, try to coordinate timing with breaks as to not disturb the model and the other artist's concentration

-Never touch a model

-Do not converse with the model.  Any questions or requests should be made via the moderator.
